We’ll meet here at the Rotary Shelter at Lake Padden Park at 6pm!

Take the East Entrance and drive all the way to the back of the park, just before the baseball fields and dog park. There are stairs and/or a short walk from the flat parking lot on the gravel trail.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• We’ll eat dinner together.

• We’ll celebrate with those who choose to be baptized and publicly declare their love for Jesus!

• We’ll play games together!

• It’s not a potluck; we will have a prepared meal, but you’re welcome to bring snacks to share if you’d like.

Big Idea: Jesus Grows Our Hope Through Uncommon Friends

You're invited to a one-hour lunch conversation where we’ll share and explore the Big Idea that will shape our church’s focus during the Growing Season.

We’ll talk about:

• Why this Big Idea matters

• The scriptures we’ll engage with

• The themes and practices we’ll focus on

• What we hope to grow in by the time Advent arrives

We’d love your feedback, questions, and insights as we begin this journey together.

Note: Spring Church is a part of the northwest coast Presbytery and is thankful we get to be a part of the work God has already doing in Bellingham for years and years through our friendship with the 3 other PCUSA churches in Bellingham. During Holy Week, Cordata Presbyterian Church will host Love One Another Thursday (also called Maundy Thursday) and First Presbyterian Church will host Holy Friday. This is a great opportunity to participate in various styles of worship with new and familiar friends. Please contact Jessie at jessie@springchurchbellingham.com with any questions you may have and pay close attention to times and addresses as they will be different depending on the service.

Holy Friday is a solemn service where we remember the cruel crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary where he took upon himself our sins.

At the Last Supper, Jesus commanded his disciples to love one another and demonstrated this by washing their feet as an act of servant-hearted kindness. In this worship service, we will share a meal, pray, sing, and extend beyond our church community to connect with new people and share the love of Jesus.
