Episode: It Starts With a Meal: Healing All That's Tearing Us Apart

Why we love it: Two uncommon friends, a Christian woman and a Muslim woman, began these feasts with the question: What does it mean to believe there is room at the table for everyone? ⁣This conversation portrays a global invitation for everyone around the world to have a meal with people unlike them, which they called a “Love Anyway Feast.”

Episode: David gungor of the brilliance

Why we love it: As we talk about incorporating justice into our everyday lives, music can be one way to reflect, converse, and engage in other people’s pain and injustices around the world as we go about our days. This interview sheds light on how the band "The Brilliance" is using their music to share the stories of immigrants in the U.S.; their experiences, struggles, hopes, and dreams as the dreamers themselves. ⁣

Episode: Matt and Denise McCoy on an Adventure of Faith

Why we love it: This podcast is hosted by our friend / the executive presbyter for the Northwest Coast Presbytery, Corey Schlosser-Hall. He is a fantastic host! And this podcast captures the origin of Spring Church where Matt and Denise McCoy share about their adventure of faith that’s led them to embody uncommon friendship and common discipleship in their lives and invite others to actively participate in this shared mission through the Spring Church community.

Episode: From Poverty to Abundance with Rev. Michael Mather

Why we love it: When we look at the abundance of God and of others, rather than scarcity, we might be more inclined to share a meal with someone, hear their story, and find uncommon friendship through unexpected situations and people.

Episode: Ruth- vocation for the poor

Why we love it: As we explore the book of Ruth, we find that vocation has less to do with just using your gifts, and more to do with participating in what God is doing in the world. This podcast explores the reality that not everyone has the freedom to live fully into their giftings or pursue the career of their dreams due to financial constraints, family obligations, and personal limitations. This conversation offers a perspective that vocation meets each of us in our particular circumstances no matter where we find ourselves.

Episode: “The F Word”

Why we love it: Right now, 100% of the Father's love is for you. But we aren't experiencing it. How come? This podcast explores some of the obstacles that keep us from entering in and receiving more fully the love of the Father. Our friend Mike Neeley has a deep love for Jesus and has been invited by the Holy Spirit to share what the Lord has been teaching him in his life and ministry for the past 30 years through this podcast.

Episode: Kevin & Danielle Riley from Heartbreaking to Heartwarming

Why we love it: Corey talks with two amazing human beings and dear friends to Spring Church, Kevin and Danielle Riley. They candidly share significant moments on their journey from addiction, incarceration, and homelessness to becoming parents and pastors. They both serve at Mount Baker Presbyterian Church in Concrete, WA. This is only the beginning of their story. Listen to hear what they are on the verge of next!
