Why are we in a barn with uncommon friends? For the same reason we light an advent wreath with uncommon friends: Because we want to hear from the Holy Spirit! Jesus was born in a barn and placed in an animal feeding trough because that's where there was room for him. As we learn how to create space in our hearts for Jesus, we’ll gather in a barn to remember how the first Christmas began.
