What: Spring Church is participating in the annual City of Bellingham photography contest called the "Essence of Bellingham!”

Why: We will celebrate our local community, paying attention to the places and people around us, and having fun being creative together.

Where: We’ll create a shot list together by answering this question in advance to the event - where is a place you love in downtown Bellingham / Fairhaven area? Why do you love this place? You can send Jessie your ideas here and we’ll add your stop to our list! There will be some walking involved. Wear comfortable shoes. We’ll primarily be taking photos on our phones but feel free to bring a camera (digital, manual or disposable) if you have one.

Details: We’ll meet up in the First Baptist Parking lot and head out in carpools from there to the various spots on our list. The main event is scheduled for Friday, September 20 at 4pm with a rainy day backup of the next morning, Saturday September 21 at 10am. Same meeting place. We’ll organize our photos and submit them by October 1 officially into the contest.
