Why are we in a barn with uncommon friends? For the same reason we light an advent wreath with uncommon friends: Because we want to hear from the Holy Spirit!
Jesus was born in a barn and placed in an animal feeding trough because that's where there was room for him. As we learn how to create space in our hearts for Jesus, we’ll gather in a barn to remember how the first Christmas began.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Warm, Cozy Atmosphere: Gather on the back deck with a fire to welcome you, cozy up with hand warmers, and enjoy cocoa, cider, and Christmas music.
Authentic Barn Space: Barn setting with hay bales for seating and real goats! We’ll be out in the barn space uncovered for about 20 minutes. Bring layers and appropriate shoes.
Craft Activity: DIY ornament-making (painting, filling, and decorating clear ornaments) outside near the fire.
Connection Time: Free time to chat with others and meet new friends.
Meaningful Worship: Advent wreath lighting, bell ringing, scripture reading, and a focus on preparing room in our hearts for Jesus.
Interactive Worship: Communion served on the back deck and time for singing Christmas songs together.
Food and Fellowship: Enjoy cookies, hot drinks, and dinner with friends.
Blessing and Sending: A final blessing as you are sent into the world, knowing God is with us.
