This is an open small group, so anyone can join!
We’ll Zoom Sunday, November 29 at 3pm and learn about the Jesse Tree devotional and prepare our ornaments.
Every day, on our own or with the people in our households, we’ll add an ornament to the tree, read the corresponding verse and do a short reflection and prayer.
Dates
Sunday, November 29 at 3:00pm - First Jesse Tree Advent Group Gathering on Zoom. We’ll get to know one another and make a plan for our ornaments and devotional.
Thursday December 17th - Midway check-in with the other Advent small groups of Spring Church.
Thursday January 7th - Advent small group wrap up and celebration with the other Advent small groups of Spring Church.

We’ll use the SAME Zoom link for every gathering.
At the time of the gathering, either click on the Spring Church website menu “Enter Zoom meeting” or click the button below to join.
We will be using the Jesse Tree toolkit offered for free at Faithward.org. There are tons of great resources and infinite free resources online for ideas. Various Jesse Tree devotionals may be slightly different and you are free to choose whichever you’d like for this group. The important thing is that this Advent practice is a way enter into the story of God's redemptive plan since the beginning of time.
Below are a few ideas to inspire how you might want to craft your own Jesse Tree. There are many great resources also on Pinterest and Etsy.
